Intramural sports here at Carnegie Mellon are extremely popular, with hundreds of students competing in a wide-variety of competitions, from football, basketball and soccer, to water polo, squash and bowling. Students play sports with fraternities, clubs, student organizations, dorms, and even just groups of friends. The leagues are very well organized, with team captains, referees for the games, and published schedules.

With so many sports to play, and so many participants, taking home an Intramural championship requires a great deal of talent, commitment, and organization. The brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha are two-time defending Intramural champions, and now the holders of the all-time points record, smashing the previous record by nearly 2,000 points. We are looking to be even stronger for 2009, and continue our dominance in all athletic competitions.
