In addition to competing, the Pikes at Carnegie Mellon are focused on bigger goals, like giving back to the community and helping those less fortunate. Every spring, the Greek community coordinates event called Greek Sing, in which each Greek organization puts on a show for a huge audience. While coordinating and choreographing their shows, organizations also spend time raising money, which is all pooled and donated to a local charity. Last year, the event raised over $20,000 for Guilda's Club, a charitable organization here in Pittsburgh. Pi Kappa Alpha teamed up with the sorority Delta Delta Delta to perform "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change", which took third place in the doubles division. The Greek Sing Chairman, who is in charge of coordinating the entire event for the entire Greek community, was Dorian Adeyemi, a member of Pi Kappa Alpha.
